FILL THE PITS
For Our 40th Birthday, Let’s Supersize the Celebration!
Since 1987, Loyalist Gymnastics Club has helped members of all ages and abilities across Eastern Ontario build confidence, overcome challenges and discover what they're capable of. With a 20-year lease secured on our building, we're excited to invest in the future of our club, our programs, our coaches and our athletes. And we're starting with something BIG:
Not one, but TWO brand-new HIGH-PERFORMANCE FOAM PITS
Coming January 2027, the new pits will be located in our trampoline, bars, vault and floor areas, giving athletes more opportunities to safely learn, practice and dream a little bigger. As we build for the future, we're committed to keeping gymnastics accessible today. Our club remains Kingston's most affordable gymnastics club, helping more local families experience the sport we love. Help us fill them. Help us build what comes next.

WHY THESE PITS MATTER
Foam pits are an important training tool in gymnastics. They give athletes a safer environment to practice and develop skills while allowing coaches to introduce new skills and progressions.
The new pits will benefit:
Recreational Gymnasts can learn new skills, build confidence & have more fun!
Competitive Athletes can progress advanced skills and prepare for competition with greater confidence.
Coaches will have more tools to teach progressions & support skill development safely.
Every Gymnast of different ages & abilities can develop skills at their own pace in a supportive environment.
The two new high-performance foam pits will be located in our trampoline, bars, vault and floor areas, supporting participants across our recreational, competitive, adaptive, youth and adult programs.
40 YEARS OF LOYALIST
Loyalist Gymnastics Club began in 1987 as Kingston's first gymnastics club for boys. Over nearly four decades, we've grown into a volunteer-driven, non-profit organization serving participants of all ages and abilities.
Today, Loyalist offers competitive and recreational programs for participants from 6 months through adulthood, including:
Kingston's only Men's Artistic Gymnastics (MAG) competitive program, led by Technical Director Alexander "Sasha" Jeltkov, a two-time Olympian, World Championship medalist and Canadian Gymnastics Hall of Fame inductee. Loyalist is also the former home of Xavier Olasz, who recently represented Team Canada at the 2026 Pan American Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Kingston's Women’s Artistic Gymnastics (WAG) competitive program with the most pathways and flexibility, led by Stephanie Bacon, a former Cheer Canada Senior National Team athlete. From Pre-Competitive and Xcel to Invitational, Provincial and National, our athletes have opportunities to challenge themselves, progress their skills and pursue competitive gymnastics at the level that fits their goals, interests and lifestyle.
Recreational Gymnastics for all ages and abilities, offering participants the opportunity to build skills, confidence and strength in a fun, supportive environment. With a variety of programs and skill levels, participants can enjoy gymnastics in a way that fits their interests and goals.
As we approach 40 years, we're proud of where we've been. Now we're building what's next.
